The dissolved air flotation (DAF) unit adopts a new and efficient air dissolution device—the micro-bubble generator—to replace traditional air induction equipment for dissolving air into water. In the flotation zone, several inclined tube sets are installed, which, together with the tank body, scum scraper, and spiral discharger, form a complete air flotation water purification system. The purpose of adding inclined tubes in the flotation zone is to increase the flotation area, significantly reduce the Reynolds number, prevent turbulent flow during flotation, create favorable laminar flow conditions, and achieve the effect of shallow layer flotation.

Similarly, when the density of suspended solids is greater than 1, the installation of inclined tube sets creates a shallow tank sedimentation effect, allowing sedimentation to occur under turbulent conditions. Larger particles and pollutants with higher specific gravity that are difficult to float will concentrate in the sludge collection zone, achieving the goal of water purification.
